"Your account will be suspended"
A message that looks like Google, Microsoft, Apple, PayPal, Amazon, Standard Bank or SARS warns your account is locked or "will be suspended in 24 hours," with a button to "verify." The button opens a look-alike login page that captures your password — and often your 2FA code in real time.
What to do: never click. Open the service yourself by typing the address or using the official app, and check there. Report the message as phishing.
