Fake updates, extensions & QR traps

Watch for "your browser is out of date — update now" overlays, search ads leading to cloned download sites, browser extensions that ask to "read and change all your data," and QR codes in emails, posters or over real stickers that open phishing pages.

What to do: update only from inside the app or the official site; install few extensions, from official stores only; and preview a QR code's address before opening — never log in through a QR-linked page.
