Welcome to OTBOY. These terms explain the rules for using the app. By using OTBOY, you agree to them. Please read them — they are written to be short and clear.

1. What OTBOY is

OTBOY is an educational tool. It teaches everyday people how to recognise online scams and fraud through short lessons and practice questions, tailored to the region you choose. It is a learning aid, nothing more.

2. Not professional advice, and no guarantee

The lessons are general educational information, not professional, legal, financial, or security advice for your specific situation. OTBOY cannot guarantee that using it will prevent you from being targeted by, or falling victim to, fraud or scams. Scammers change their methods constantly. Always use your own judgement and, when in doubt, consult a qualified professional or your bank.

3. Provided "as is"

OTBOY is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not promise the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, always available, or fully up to date.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OTBOY and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage — including financial loss, loss of data, or any consequence of fraud or a scam — arising from your use of, or reliance on, the app or its content. You use OTBOY at your own discretion and risk.

5. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your own decisions and actions. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping access to it secure. Do not use OTBOY to break the law, to attack or disrupt the service, or to misuse it in any way.

6. Accounts

Accounts are optional and are used only to save your progress across devices. Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email — we never ask for a password. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

7. Payments

Some features may be offered as a paid subscription. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record (the seller) and handles billing, taxes, and receipts. Their checkout terms apply to your purchase. Any refund or cancellation is handled according to Lemon Squeezy's policy together with ours; contact us if you have a billing question.

8. Changes

We may update, change, or discontinue parts of the app, and we may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law
